Pomades

Pomade is the “gel” of our parents and grandparents. It is used to shape and groom the hair and, depending on the hardness of the pomade, to give the hair a matt to elegant shine. Petrolatum serves as the base of the pomade. In addition, vegetable oils such as coconut oil often increase their care effect. Beeswax or microwax increases the hardness of the consistency and therefore the stiffness of the hairstyle styled with a pomade. Lanolin helps to hold the hairstyle together even better. The advantage of a classic pomade: it does not dry out the hair and scalp, the hairstyle remains flexible all day long, the hair can be combed at any time. Plus: a classic pomade prevents split ends and dandruff.
