The Captain Fawcett Hair Pomade Clay provides a strong hold and a matte finish. It is an unorthodox water-based clay and can be easily washed out with shampoo. Despite its natural waxes and the petrolatum it contains, it offers a creamy consistency and can be rubbed between the hands without any problems. It provides a conditioning hold that can be restyled easily. With the typical elegant, woody-spicy fragrance. Made in Great Britain.

Consistency and fragrance:
The Clay Pomade by Captain Fawcett can be scooped out of the stylish jar without much resistance. When rubbed between the hands, the fragrance of green woods, warm spices and a hint of fresh lemon really comes alive and lifts the mood. The water-based pomade can then be distributed through the hair without any problems. In the hair, it provides strong hold, a nice matte finish, volume and good grip. The product can be washed out easily with water; however, we recommend the Expedition Reserve Conditioning Shampoo by Captain Fawcett – with the elegant fragrance of incense, cedarwood, musk and patchouli – to remove all product residues completely.
The Clay Pomade is packaged in a beautifully designed tin with an embossed lid.

Was mir pers. an dem Clay extrem gut gefällt ist der Geruch. Riecht finde ich toll nach Holz und Wald.
Zur Anwendung: hier bin ich leider massiv enttäuscht. Der Clay ist so hart, dass man ihn kaum aus der Dose bekommt. Wenn das dennoch geschafft wurde lässt er sich - wie beschrieben- in den Händen nur sehr schwer verteilen bzw verreiben.
Der Clay an sich ist grau gefärbt und hinterlässt dementsprechend auch einen grauen Film auf den Händen der trotzt mehrfachen Händewaschen fast nicht abgeht und sich dann im Handtuch wieder findet. Ich hatte den Uppercut Clay recht lange in Verwendung, welcher mMn in der Anwendung leichter ist.
Fazit: Geruch 100% - Handling nicht so toll.

Das ist so ein Produkt, das ist so gut dass ich am Liebsten auf Vorrat kaufen will.
Sehr guter Clay, macht auch an heißen Tagen in den Zeiten der Klimakrise keine schlechte Figur, für einen wasserlöslichen Clay. Ein dezenter seriöser Duft, gute Griffigkeit und die wohl schönste Pomade Dose der Welt.
Ich Wechsel ab sofort von meiner vorherigen zu dieser, nach 8 Jahren, das will was heißen denke ich.
