If you want a strong, shine-free hairstyle or a conditioning pre-styler, Uppercut CLAY is the right choice for you. The combination of several waxes ensures a firm hold and a matte, beachy look. The scent is also compelling. But it's not for beginners, as the clay is difficult to wash out! The tin can with its screw cap and attractive design is a sporty eye-catcher anyway. Made in Australia
The "Uppercut Clay Pomade" is a modern pomade, a hybrid based on a bit of water and waxes. It was developed by hairdressers and is suitable for all hair types and hairstyles. The tin can with screw cap and the very nice design is a sporty eye-catcher anyway.
Consistency and fragrance
The Uppercut Matt Clay is a field gray pomade with a warm undertone. The consistency is firm. If you've managed to dig some pomade out of the can with your finger, the pomade looks and feels like soft plastic. It's not tough like a DAX or Murray's, but creamy. The pomade can easily be rubbed between the hands with a little pressure and worked into the hair. Surprisingly, very little is enough to achieve a very nice effect.
The scent is one of the best ever: a really successful mix of wood and leather. This is how it is specified by the manufacturer. We smell more of a fresh fragrance composition here, reminiscent of a modern perfume. The Uppercut Clay is also very modern in other respects. Like all most pomades from the Uppercut Range, it is water-based. And candilla and carnauba wax takes care of hair and scalp and it will please all friends of the dry look.
The effect
With the Uppercut Clay, the name says it all. In the hair it is dull like clay - not a hint of shine. The contained clay (betonite) ensures this. The Uppercut Clay is suitable for all solid classic and modern hairstyles. The hold is firm and is also suitable for giving the soft pomade or hair tonic already contained in the hair a firmer shape.
According to the manufacturer, washing it out should be absolutely problem-free, ideally with a standard shampoo. In our tests, it took a bit more effort.

Work the pomade into dry hair with dry hands. Comb or shape with your hands.
