Medium, modern pomade for the natural look with grapefruit fragrance.
Modern cola-colored gel pomade for medium-firm hold and delicate shine. Super easy in direction, is easily washed out again with water. FOP is a modern alternative to soft and medium hold vaseline-based pomades of the 1930s and 1950s. With a tangy, fresh grapefruit scent. Made in Germany.
The first thing that catches your eye about the FOP Pomade is the lovingly designed 100 ml can and the beautiful bold 1930s label in blue, beige and reddish brown. If you unscrew the black, plastic lid, you look at a cola-colored gel pomade, reminiscent of a tea or even cola. The strong scent is fruity-tart with a lemony freshness of grapefruit. The scent is aromatic, but not intrusive, and becomes very mild in the hair, almost imperceptible.
The consistency of the FOP Pomade is gel soft and delicately sticky like honey, can be washed off from the fingers at any time very easily with water. It is very pleasant to apply and is reminiscent of medium-strength pomades of the 1930s and 1950s. Accordingly, the styling of slickbacks and typical hairstyles of the 1930-50s is then also easy. Thus, the hair feels amazingly loose, soft and healthy with the FOP Pomade.
The shine of the FOP Pomade is initially strong, but soon becomes subtle and can be enhanced when applied to damp hair. Despite being a modern, water-based hair pomade made almost entirely of synthetic ingredients, FOP Pomade offers a pleasingly well-groomed, loose look. This is probably due to the plant-based ingredients, such as the coconut oil it contains. The hair also does not seem so stuck on or oily shiny with the FOP, but rather like freshly showered and naturally shiny. By combing more often, the hairstyle also looks airier, looser.
Washing out the FOP is, as you would expect from a modern, water-based pomade, pleasingly simple: all you need is water to get it out of your hair again. Gladly one can strengthen the cleaning effect with a shampoo.
Application
Rub the FOP Pomade between your hands and massage into slightly damp hair. Then comb and brush the hair into shape. Tip: The FOP Pomade can also be applied to dry hair to make it look even more matte.
The FOP Pomade is packaged in a transparent plastic box with black lid and bold 1930s label.

In Ordnung, aber nicht überragend. Trotzdem großartiger Duft
Habe mir als Pomadeneuling bei meiner allerersten Bestellung die Sweet Georgia Brown und die FOP als wasserlösliche Alternative gekauft, da es sich bei beiden um beliebte Topseller handekt. Bei ersterer bin ich nach wie vor überzeugt wobei mich die FOP nicht mehr ganz so überzeugt.
Das Design der Dose ist okay, bin aber von anderen Pomaden mittlerweile Schöneres gewohnt.
Der Geruch der Pomade ist top und gehört heute immer noch zu meinen Lieblingsgerüchen bei Pomaden. Versprüht Frische und macht Laune sich das Produkt zu gönnen.
Bei ser Anwendung habe ich das Gefühl, dass man seeehr viel Pomade nehmen muss, damit alles in Form bleibt. Trage einen Slickback und selbst bei einem Tag im Büro verliere ich irgendwann Strähnen und muss nachlegen. Habe ich bei keiner anderen Pomade.
Greife als Alternative mittlerweile lieber zur Layrite Original Pomade, wenn ich mal lieber etwas schnell auswaschbares brauche und verwende für FOP nur noch als Auffrischung, wenn ich schon etwas in den Haaren habe und abends nochmal aus dem Haus gehen möchte.
In meinen Augen ein solides Produkt mit grandiosem Duft, welches ich für den Anfang empfehle, aber andere Produkte mittlerweile diesem vorziehe.
