Don Draper Beard Balm is suitable for short through to long beards. On a short beard, it helps align individual hairs and keep the underlying skin feeling smooth. Medium-length and long beards particularly benefit from its shaping effect and additional control. The balm can also condition and shape substantial moustaches and pronounced sideburns. For tightly curled moustache tips, however, a firmer product specifically formulated as a moustache wax is recommended. Directions Remove a small amount from the tin with a fingertip and rub it thoroughly between the palms until the balm becomes soft and pliable. Distribute evenly through a dry or slightly damp beard, working from the roots to the ends. Shape the beard using the fingers, a beard comb or a brush. Begin with a very small amount and add more gradually only when required. A fingertip-sized amount is generally sufficient for daily grooming. Longer or stronger beards may require a little more product for additional control. It only needs to become soft enough to lift more easily with the back of a fingernail. How to Use Use the back of the thumbnail to lift a very small amount from the tin. Rub thoroughly between the thumb and forefinger until the wax becomes soft, smooth and evenly distributed. Work into the moustache from the centre outwards. First establish the basic shape and guide the hair evenly towards the sides. Only then apply another very small amount to the tips and twist them into the desired form.
