Cool green water-based pomade with a light matt effect
The "Hey Joe! Genuine Pomade Strong" is a modern water soluble pomade with a strong fruit gum scent. It is excellent for strong hold, matt look and an easy wash-out. Comes in a tin can in a cool alligator design. Made in Spain.
The gel pomade from Spain by „Hey Joe!“ comes pretty cool. Off the silver tin can with a screw-cap a buff alligator stares at us with a challenging look. Inside veils the new „Hey Joe! Genuine Hair Pomade Strong“.
The Hey Joe! Pomade looks like solified jello: it is bilious green, translucent and has a sweet fruity aroma of apple fruit gum (probably the reason for the alligator: the girls will find your pompadour to be very tasty).
The consistency is surprising: it is even more solid than that of the Layrite Superhold Pomade and its stickiness beats any water-based pomade on the market. Yet it shines by a smooth and excellent usability. It offers your hair a strong, still flexible hold. The highlight seems to be the natural matt effect of the Hey Joe Pomade. Your hair does not look dried out, instead your pomp holds perfectly in form without a greasy shine, just a healthy look that gets matter by combing.
Hey Joe! washes out as easily as any modern water soluble pomade, due to its included chemicals: simply pour water on your pomp and the pomade comes out completely.
Application:
Take one or two fingers full of pomade, rub it between your hands and apply into dry hair. Comb as desired. A hairbrush adds structure and volume to your hair.
The pomade is packaged in a solid tin can with a convenient screw cap, which is a great tour escort with its 3.5 fl. oz. (100 ml) by the way.

Sehr geeignet für dünnes, feines Haar.
Super Halt, härtet leicht aus, wie Gel - jedoch ohne so extrem zu verkleben.
Bleibt aber trotzdem formbar.
Kein extremer Glanz, eher schön matt.
Sehr empfehlenswert. Der Duft ist leider nicht so langanhaltend.

My favorite
Habe sehr dichtes und leicht welliges Haar, jeden morgen machen die was sie wollen und sind super schwer in Form zu bringen.
Habe dieses Produkt zum ersten mal bei einem Barbier in Valencia ausprobiert, und bin seitdem ein riesen Fan! Best Pommade ever! Meine Freundin (sehr anspruchsvoll in Sachen Geruch) liebt diese ebenfalls. Die Pommade hält den ganzen Tag einwandfrei, man kann seinen Style gerne auch ändern. Ich glaube diese Pommade ist Wasser basierend (?) weshalb sie sich super einfach rauswaschen lässt. Werde nie wieder etwas anderes benutzen!
Klare Kaufempfehlung!
BTW: Kollegen die ab und an mal ihre Haarprodukte vergessen haben und diese von mir sich ausgeliehen haben sind seitdem auch komplett umgestiegen!
Super Pomade, hält was sie verspricht
Alles super
mittelfeste Gelpomade mit frischen Duft
Eine nette Alternative zu meinen Favoriten (JS Solane etc.) Ich habe dichtes und mitteldünnes Haar. Der Duft gefiel mir am besten bei diesem Produkt, perfekt nach dem Sport oder an einem heissen sonnigen Tag, sehr erfrischend. Halt und look eher wie normales Haargel. Trocken und fest. Lässt sich bei Handtuchtrockenen Haaren sehr einfach auftragen. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.
Werde weitersuchen
Ich habe lockige Harre und das war jetzt meine 2. Wasserlößliche Pomade. Zuvor hatte ich die Uppercut und mochte den Halt, jedoch nicht den Duft. Bei der "Hey Joe" gefällt mir der Duft schon besser, wenngleich sehr *haargelich*. Allerdings der Halt lässt zu Wünschen übrig wie ich finde. Sie härtet nicht so sehr aus wie die Uppercut und fühlt sich allgemein eher locker an. Hat auch was, bringt mit meinen locken nur eben sehr wenig. Dannach werde ich wohl der Layrite mal eine Chance geben.
Sogar besser als die berühmte Layrite!
Vorweg: Ich habe geraume Zeit die braune Layrite Pomade genutzt, doch war gleichzeitig immer auf der Suche nach einer Alternative. Dann bin ich hier auf die Hey Joe! Pomade gestoßen und bin begeistert!
Von der Konsistenz her finde ich sie 'nen Ticken besser als die Layrite und auch der Duft ist unschlagbar! Man duftet stets frisch wie vom Friseur. Was den Halt und die Auswaschbarkeit angeht, geben sich die Hey Joe! und die Layrite nichts.
Fazit: Für mich ist die Hey Joe! Pomade das beste Haarstyling-Produkt und ich werde ihr dementsprechend treu bleiben :-)
