Creamy styling wax for the natural look
Provides an excellent, medium to strong hold, a matt finish and a tangy lime fragrance. Packaged in a beautiful tin with twist cap. Made in Australia
The Featherweight Uppercut is a solid, waxy hair cream. It is perfect for natural or messy look like James Dean, when you want the hair to look full, fluffy and rather matt but not dried out.
The effect
The Uppercut Featherweight is a all rounder. It can be applied into the hair very easily, as well as restyled and washed out. The hair remains flexible throughout the day. When driving through your hair a slight film remains on the fingers. But that does not really bother, it rather conveys the feeling of a true pomade.
The advantages of the Uppercut Featherweight:
- The hair gets a natural looking hold.
- The hair gains enough fullness without being weighed down.
- The hold is light, but thanks to lanolin and beeswax it keeps the hair very good in shape
- And of course the hair looks natural and healthy. So neither too dry nor too shiny
For whom is this product?
The Uppercut Featherweight is a good, lightweight pomade for:
- Any hair type
- Short to medium length hair
- For the natural look with a matte, healthy-looking finish
- For the messy, modern look
- For photo shootings, to quickly create a natural-looking style. Be it modern or retro
Consistency and fragrance
The Uppercut Featherweight has a creamy colour. Similarly, the consistency is creamy but waxy-firm. It is comparable to the DAX Hairshaper or the S-Curl 360 The scent is strong, citrusy, woody, reminiscent of the Ed.Pinaud Lime Sec. In the hair and on fingers is is perceptible for a little while as a pleasant citrus-vanilla scent. As a water-based styling cream the Uppercut Featherweight unfortunately contains quite a lot of chemistry. But that just allows a fluffy, medium firm hold and easy to wash out. In order not to make the hair look too modern-dryish, the Uppercut Featherweight contains also ingredients of a classic pomades: lanolin, mineral oil and microcrystalline wax.
The packaging
Like all Uppercut tins, also this one look great. It is made of sheet metal with a very practical screw cap. In order not to let the water-based consistency corrode the metal, the pomade is inside in a plastic container, which can not be taken out.
Directions:
Rub a small amount of pomade between your palms and fingers, and apply to dry hair. Repeat if needed. Comb and brush in style. That's it
The pomade is packaged in a very beautiful black can with a screw cap.

Gut Stuff!
super Pomade, bzw. Frisiercreme
Super Produkt.
Uppercut" is a term used in boxing. In the 1930/40s the young Willy O'Shea earned the nickname "Uppercut O'Shea, " as he toured through Australia boxing week after week for nearly a decade. Just 15 years old, he came in 1930 from Ireland to Sydney, Australia. Despite the tough times and the hard sport Willy O'Shea always made an effort to look sharp and always had a clean tie in his bag as well as a tub of home-made hair grease. Willy's legacy lives on through the Uppercut pomade, an Australian family owned company which has set itself the goal to make you look as well groomed as it was Willy back in the 1930's.
