The new water-based cult pomade from the USA

The Prospectors WATER BASED Pomade "IRON ORE" is a firm, water-based pomade with a tart, masculine scent. Made in the USA.

The absolute cult pomade from the USA. The trademark of Prospectors are the lovingly embossed cans, which everyone who deals a little with pomade knows by now. Particularly noteworthy is the processed hemp oil, which ensures a healthy shine and cares for both the hair and the scalp.

The Prospectors WATER BASED Pomade "IRON ORE" gives a first-class, firm hold and the malleability of a classic pomade. The gloss is in the middle range and becomes a little duller during the day. The scent is nice and tart, masculine, reminiscent of a modern aftershave and not as fruity or sweet as you know from many other water-based pomades.

The typical gel grooves in the hair are alien to the Prospectors WATER BASED Pomade "IRON ORE". It works best on short or medium long, thin to normal hair. With this Pomade it is fun to try out all possible hairstyles without regrets. Be it slickback hairstyle in the style of the 1930s to 1940s, an Elvis-Pompadour or other popular hairstyles of the 1950s, such as a flat top, ducktail or quiff. It's even perfect for modern hair effects like spikes.

 

The pomade is packaged in a beautifully embossed tin can.

Super Pomade, Mega Duft

Super Pomade, zieht schnell an sitzt dann Bombenfest. Gute Abwechslung zur klassischen Pomade. Bei meinem dichten Haar eine der wenigen Pomaden die den ganzen Tag über hält. Super

Wo soll man nur beginnen...
Die Dose allein ist ein Hingucker. Wertig verarbeitet.
Öffnet man die Dose, nimmt man als erstes den super intensiven maskulinen Duft wahr. Sehr präsent aber in meinen Augen keinesfalls unangenehm!
Wenn man genauer hinsieht, erkennt man unter der Pomade, am Boden der Dose einen Amboss (das nenne ich Liebe zum Detail).
Die Pomade lässt sich leicht entnehmen. Sobald diese im Haar ist, zieht sie rasch an (ähnlich wie die Suavecito Firm, meines Erachtens sogar einen Tick rascher).Beim Stylen würde ich raten, mit einem groben Kamm zu beginnen. Durch das rasche anziehen der Pomade bekomme ich, mit meinem stark welligen und dichten Haar, jede Strähne gerade und bleibt dort wo sie sein sollte. Der Glanz ist anfangs stärker, wird aber etwas matter im Laufe der Zeit. Nachstylen ist machbar, aber auch hier, eher mit einem groben Kamm beginnen. Für mich ist jedoch das nachstylen keine Anforderung, ganz im Gegenteil. In der Früh schmieren und hält bis am Abend, das ist was man von der Iron Ore bekommt. Einfach genial. Auswaschen ist WB-typisch sehr simpel.
Rundum eine sehr gelungene Pomade für meine Bedürfnisse!
(Zusatzinfo: verwende vor der Pomade das Grooming Tonic von Reuzel)

Die absoluten Kult-Pomaden aus den USA. Das Markenzeichen von Prospectors sind die liebevoll geprägten Dosen, diese kennt wohl inzwischen jeder, der sich ein wenig mit Pomade beschäftigt. Besonders hervor zu heben ist hier das verarbeitete Hanföl, was für einen gesunden Glanz sorgt und sowohl das Haar als auch die Kopfhaut pflegt.
