When sprayed on for the first time, it smells alcoholic, of fresh grass, pine trees and tart bergamot. This is followed by a bouquet of Tuscan dry herbs and flowers, late summer lavender, rosemary and roasted tonka bean. Finally, manly cedar and pine take over, accompanied by the licorice scent of star anise and tobacco scent of amber. The scent remains mildly perceptible on the skin.
