Refreshing hair tonic from the Reuzel brand. From the cult barbers Schorem in Rotterdam. Gives hair a loose hold, a subtle shine, and a modern, fresh, sporty scent. With itch-relieving witch hazel, hair-strengthening nettle extract, horsetail extract, and rosemary extract. Made in the USA.
The long-awaited Hair Tonic by Reuzel is here! Just like the Reuzel Grooming Tonic it is bottled in a cool whiskey style plastic bottle, but the liquid is turquoise blue and reminds of the Lucky Tiger Aspen After Shave. The scent is tangy, sporty fresh and very modern.
In the hair the Reuzel Hair Tonic gives an easy hold, perfect for casual styles or for preparing the hair for pomade after washing. Due to the contained glycerin, it gives a nice discreet sheen.
At Schorem Barbershop in Rotterdam, the hair tonic is even used to wet the hair while cutting instead of water.
Packaged in a cool plastic bottle with Reuzel embossing on the side and brown label.

Angenehmer Duft und einfaches Föhnen
Würde ich nicht weiterempfehlen
Heute beim Pomadekauf blind mitgenommen, weil ich mit dem Grooming Tonic stets zufrieden war. Leider war das die erste und letzte Flasche vom blauen Tonic.
Es fehlt mir der "Frische"-Effekt wie z. B. beim blauen Dapper Dan Tonic. Dazu kommt noch der Duft, der wirklich nach irgendwie nach Toilettenputzmittel riecht. Geht gar nicht!
Das erste Produkt von Reuzel, das mir nicht gefällt...
Funktionalität ok, Duft billig
Nachdem ich vom Reuzel Grooming Tonic ziemlich angetan war, wollte ich auch das Reuzel Hair Tonic ausprobieren.
Zunächst mal zum Funktionalen. Das Tonic tut, was es tut. Frisches Gefühl in den Haaren und der Kopfhaut (wenn auch ohne Menthol, wie beim Osage Rub Hair & Face Tonic). Die Haare lassen sich gut legen und föhnen, womit dann meine lockigen Haare wenigstens etwas gebändigt sind und sie nicht nach allen Seiten abstehen.
Was den Duft betrifft, so kann ich meinem Vor-Reviewer allerdings überhaupt nicht zustimmen. Für mich riecht das Tonic nach dem 0815-Klostein aus dem Discounter oder der Autobahntoilette. Pfui.
Frische briese auf dem Skalp
Ein Haartonikum von Reuzel? Super, ist bestellt!
Zuerst der Duft:
Sportlich Frisch beschreibt es doch am besten. Es duftet wie eine (sehr,sehr gute) Seife oder ein hochwertiges Duschgel.
Definitiv nicht billig, sondern eben "Sportlich frisch"
Alles in allem ist der Duft also doch sehr gut.
Einen Nostalgischen Barbershop-Duft wie bei Lucky Tiger findet man hier aber nicht.
2-3 Spritzer in Haar und ordentlich einmassiert.
Nun spielt das Tonic seine Stärke aus. Ein super angenehmes und frisches Gefühl bleibt auf der Kopfhaut zurück. Toll!
Laut Beschreibung gibt das Tonic den Haaren einen lockeren halt.
Nun ja, hier muss ich sagen, dass der Halt im allerbesten Fall höchsten sehr, sehr Locker ist.
Die Haare fliegen zwar nach dem Trocknen nicht, aber ich würde danach immer noch ein Produkt zum Stylen benutzen.
Da es sich um ein nicht-fettendes Tonic handelt, bleiben die Haare auch "sauber" ;), aber eben auch ohne Glanz.
Alles in allem ein Super Tonic, sicherlich anders als L.T. aber auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
