Strong, water soluble pomade in XXL Barber Size
It is candy-brown, ideal for a pompadour or a business look and pricy. With a pleasant coconut-cookie fragrance. Made in Australia.
The "Uppercut Deluxe is a modern, water-based pomade. It was developed by barbers and is suitable for all hair types and hairstyles. The design of the can is really a looker, and is not just for boxing fans an enrichment for the bathroom. The fragrance is very subtle in the hair and leaves the environment asking what winning fragrance this is.
Consistency and fragrance
The Uppercut Deluxe is glassy brown, looks like a melted caramel candy. And it smells like coconut-cookies. On fingers it feels soft, not sticky and can be washed off from hands without any problems.
The effect
The Uppercut Deluxe offers a good medium-firm hold with a little gloss. It is therefore a good for a businessman hairstyle or a small pompadour. As the Layrite pomade pomade it does not dry out in your hair any can be combed over at any time. To washi it out all you need is just warm water and your hair is dry as straw again. It owes this easiness to modern chemistry, but at least the contained glycerin provides some little hair care.
BTW: you can get the Uppercut Pomades in australian Carhartt stores
(With the Uppercut Deluxe Pomade you can style f.e. an Elvis like "High Pomp")
The pomade is packaged in a tin can with a very chic label.

Uppercut" is a term used in boxing. In the 1930/40s the young Willy O'Shea earned the nickname "Uppercut O'Shea, " as he toured through Australia boxing week after week for nearly a decade. Just 15 years old, he came in 1930 from Ireland to Sydney, Australia. Despite the tough times and the hard sport Willy O'Shea always made an effort to look sharp and always had a clean tie in his bag as well as a tub of home-made hair grease. Willy's legacy lives on through the Uppercut pomade, an Australian family owned company which has set itself the goal to make you look as well groomed as it was Willy back in the 1930's.
