The clay pomade from the Spanish barbers is the interpretation of the traditional matt cream with a real pinch of “Hey Joe!”. Again the tried and tested landmark, the well-trained alligator, looks at us from the light orange tin with a screw cap. Inside is the new “Hey Joe! Genuine Hair Pomade Matt Clay ”. Unlike its predecessors, this pomade is not brightly colored and transparent, but surprises with a rich ivory shade. The scent is intense, but not intrusive, and at first reminds of a warm caramel-vanilla note.

The consistency is reminiscent of a cream and tempts you to pick up a large amount with your finger. But the stickiness after rubbing in exceeds many water-based pomades on the market. So the Hey Joe! Matt clay should be used sparingly. Nevertheless, it impresses with its smooth and excellent application. It offers a firm hold in the hair and is suitable for all hair types. The main focus is certainly on the matte effect of the Hey Joe! Clay. It makes the hairstyle look natural and matt, with no shine in the finish. Nevertheless, it keeps the great one in top shape - it looks as if it has grown on its own.

As with all modern water-based pomades, washing out is as easy as usual, thanks to the chemicals it contains: just put water on the great and the pomade is completely out. This makes this clay ideal for beginners without any problems.

Application:
Take one or two fingers full of clay, rub it between the palms of your hands and run it through your hair. Then comb the hair into the shape you want, using a hairbrush to add even more structure and volume to the hairstyle. The clay picks up in the hair relatively quickly, so you need to hurry to process it. The product works best on slightly damp hair. This increases the time it takes for the product to harden.
