The brand Suavecito actually stands for modern water-soluble pomades. With the Oil Based this absolute iconic brand from Santa Ana (Califonien, USA) brings out a pomade that can't be more classic. With only three ingredients (petroleum jelly, microwax and perfume) it feels like a legendary pomade from the 1920s. The application is quite easy, the Suavecito Oil Based scoops out of the tin without resistance and the hold is exactly what you would expect from a medium hold pomade. Only when it comes to shine, you notice the modern origin: It is quite silky and has a noticeably more dryer look compared to a Sweet Georgia Brown or a Murray's Small Batch 50/50. The scent is fresh, sporty, modern and smells like freshly washed hair. Another highlight of Suavecito Oil Based is the beautifully crafted tin, which one may consider the most beautiful packaging for a styling product ever. With the typical round tin that Murray's uses, but with a embossed lid and beautiful design, Suavecito Oil Based should not be missed in any pomade collection.

Da ist Rock´n´Roll drin
Die Suavecito Oil Based Pomade ist seit Jahren mein absoluter Favorit und so schnell werde ich diese auch nicht wechseln. Es ist eine mittelfeste-feste Pomade, die sich sehr gut verarbeiten lässt. Zugegeben, wenn man etwas mehr nimmt und mit dem in die Haare schmieren fertig ist, bedarf es schon einer gründlichen Handwäsche, bis alles ab ist, aber es ist trotzdem ohne Probleme möglich. In den Haaren, ich habe mittel-trockenes und halblanges Haar, hält die Pomade sehr gut und ich bekomme optimal meinen "Slick Back", inkl. kleiner Tolle, hin - da kann es auch mal regnen, kein Problem, einfach Kamm raus und noch mal nachziehen und schon sitzt es wieder wie gewünscht. Übrigens ist der Duft einfach nur genial und erfreut mich immer wieder. Wie schon gesagt, für mich eine der besten Pomaden auf dem Markt und ich gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Mein Favorit unter den mittelfesten Pomaden. Klassische Pomade, guter, nicht übertriebener Glanz und sensationeller Duft. Daneben die wohl schönste Pomadendose. Ich liebe sie!
Schöne Pomade
Ich habe bisher schon ein paar Dosen der SUAVECITO Original (wasserlöslich) leer gemacht und finde die gut. Da ich aber eigentlich lieber ölhaltige Pomaden benutze, musste ich die SUAVECITO Oil Based natürlich auch probieren.
Bei mir ist der Halt mittelfest, esrkönnte für meinen Geschmack ein kleines bisschen fester sein. Einen Pogo übersteht sie nicht, einen normalen Arbeitstag im Büro aber mit Bravour. Der Glanz ist schön und nicht zu übertrieben. Sie duftet wie die wasserlöslichen Pomaden, vielleicht ein wenig stärker und ein bisschen mehr nach Zitrone. Verarbeiten lässt sie sich ganz easy.
Die werde ich auf jeden Fall öfter benutzen!
