Medium weight summer pomade with an aromatic pineapple scent
The latest pomade by High Life is the "Voodoo Island Pomade": ocean blue, medium weight in handling providing a medium hold in your hair. The pomade will fly you to an Island in the blue ocean with a white beach and a Tiki Bar full of fresh pineapple and pina colada.
The High Life Voodoo Island Pomade is a very good, medium weight pomade for styling and sculpting your hair. The High Life pomades feature high quality ingredients such as jojoba oil, avocado oil, tea tree oil (gives hair structure and stimulates) and emu oil (oil from an Australian ostrich-like bird). Emu oil strengthens and rejuvenates the hair roots. And it works against other oils, so that the pomade is not too oily. Therefore the Voodoo Island Pomade does not feel to greasy in the hair.

Tolles Duftexperiment!?
Hab mir gerade das erste mal die Voodoo Island in die Haare geschmiert und hat auch mit Hair Tonic sich sehr gut verteilen lassen. Ich würde sagen sie ist ein kleinen Tick härter wie eine klassische Mittelfeste Pomade. So zwischen einer roten SGB und der Nu Nile. Der Durt ist auch richtig toll. Das interessante ist das wenn man sich auf Ananas konzentriert richt man auch genau das und wenn man sich auf Kokos konzentriert dann riecht man auch sehr stark Kokos…
Der Duft ist nicht alt, aber auch nicht zu neu. Perfekt in der Mitte. Und es stimmt das die Pomade sich nicht besonders fettig anfühlt? also zusammenfassend eine Hammer Pomade mit tollem Duft?
Mittelfest Pomade mit eher dezentem Glanz. Gut
Urlaub auf dem Kopf
Der Halt ist vergleichbar mit VoodooBrew. Die Farbe hingegen ist ein Augenschmauß. Ein zartes Blau mit einem seidigen Glanz. Das kann sich sehen lassen. Der Duft sucht seinesgleichen. Am dominantesten ist die Ananas-Note. Hintendran zieht ein Hauch von Kokosmilch nach. Eine super Komnbination, die man am liebsten mit einem fruchtigen Cocktail abrunden möchte.
Super: Halt, Duft und nicht medium sondern eher fest!

Die Vodoo Island ist nichts für Anfänger und erst recht nicht für nasse Haare!
Auf jeden Fall die Haare vorher trocken föhnen. Eine kleine Menge Pomade entnehmen und am besten kurz in der Hand mit einem Föhn erwärmen. Alles was an den Flossen bleibt, bekommt man erstmal nicht wirklich ab. Mit Kernseife, Bilder ich mir ein, klappt es allerdings ganz gut.
wahrhaft nix für anfänger aber gut
nun vor ein paar tagen hab ich das paket bekommen und wollte es am liebsten gleich öffnen und voodoo island in die haare schmieren hatte aber noch black and white im haar heute hab ich die voodoo island endlich testen können und es stimmt sie ist schwer zu verteilen und schwer zu entnehmen das stylen an sich lief auch nicht sooooo gut mag daran gelegen haben das meine haare nass und kalt waren also lies ich die pomade ein bisschen drin und hab sie dann neu gekämmt und gemerkt das das echt gut und einfach ging also meine empfehlung haare nicht nass machen oder direkt nach dem duschen einbringen dann bekommt man auch ein gutes ergebnis
