Schiesser Revival

The German brand Schiesser already exists since 1875. The company was founded by the Swiss Jacques Schiesser in Radolfzell on Lake Constance, where the Schiesser headquarters are still located today. In 1900, the Schiesser Original tricot caused a great sensation, and gained the award "Grand Prix for Innovation" at the Paris World Exhibition. In the 1950s and 1960s, the company advertised in Germany with the slogan "We all carry Schiesser". For decades Schiesser was trying to get rid of its old-fashioned rib-vests-Image. But in 2003 "Schiesser Revival collection" was introduced to the market - a selection of exactly those rib-vests. Originally this was only meant as a publicity stunt on the anniversary of Schiesser. But the demand was so high that the collection was not only added to the program, but expanded. As model served the well-preserved archive of the company, and the originals from the 1900 - 1950s, which the Schiesser Revival pieces are reproduced from. Schiesser Revival collection adorns not only the logo and the brand promise of 1937: "Schiesser is quality." (in German: Schiesser its Qualitaet). The underwear is distinguished from the highest quality materials and workmanship. Thus, all goods are manufactured by Schiesser today on knitting machines, which date back to the 1950s and even earlier. Specifically for this collection, they were again put in order. Lacked spare parts were extra produced for the machines, in order to preserve the authenticity of the soft goods.
