The Sweet Georgia Brown Cocoanut Oil Shampoo was already one of the most popular products of the Valmor Products Co. Chicago during the 1930s. Alongside the legendary Sweet Georgia Brown pomades, it remained part of the brand’s core assortment until 1984. Now this classic returns – lovingly reintroduced, produced in the EU, and featuring a front label that faithfully reproduces the original 1936 Valmor artwork.
Important for anyone who dislikes coconut scents: This shampoo does not smell like coconut. Despite its name, “Cocoanut Oil Shampoo,” it carries the iconic Sweet Georgia Brown fragrance known from the Hair Dressing Pomade and Hair Tonic – warm, slightly powdery, elegant, and unmistakable.

Does Sweet Georgia Brown Shampoo contain silicones?
No. The formula is silicone-free. For a smooth hair feel, we use ingredients such as Coconut Oil Glycereth-8 Esters and Glyceryl Oleate instead of classic silicones.
Does it contain parabens?
No. The shampoo is preserved without parabens – we use Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate as preservatives.

Super gut!
Geniales Produkt. Gleich mal ausgiebig probiert und für super befunden. Der leicht süße und warme Duft kommt sofort zum Vorschein, sobald das Shampoo auf den Haaren ist. Ich habe auch das Gefühl das dieses Shampoo anders schäumt als meines, dass ich normalerweise benutze. Die Haare fühlen sich schon beim Waschen anders an. In den trockenen Haaren sieht man diesen schönen Effekt. Schöner seidigen Glanz und die Haare fühlen sich leicht und luftig an. Und das schöne ist, ich rieche das Shampoo ab und zu wenn mal etwas Wind durch die Haare bläst.

Tolles Shampoo mit einem unglaublich angenehmen Duft.
Die Haare fühlen sich nach dem Waschen weich und gepflegt an und fallen viel schöner, ohne dass sie sich fettig anfühlen. Und sie werden auch nicht trocken, sehr angenehm. Die Flasche ist ein Hingucker, einfach mal was anderes, schöner oldschool Stil.

Der Duft ist schön warm, pudrig. Er ist wahrnehmbar, aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Meine Haare werden super weich und glatt, ohne schwer zu wirken oder auszutrocknen. Endlich ein Shampoo, das pflegt, aber auch gut und nicht künstlich riecht.
