The Layrite Original Pomade is a medium-strength, water-based pomade with a vanilla soda scent that is based on the popular drink cream soda in the USA. You don't need any (!) shampoo to wash it out - just water. Simply hold the shower head over your head for a moment. Made in the USA.

The Layrite (pronounced "Lej-reit", in German: "Lies right") pomade is water-based and gives a reliable and secure hold all day long. The difference to the classic gel is the castor oil it contains. The Layrite Original Pomade gives a first-class, medium-firm hold all day long. It is also easier to wash out than hair gel. It also gives the hair a little more volume after it has settled a little. The pomade gives a light, beautiful and unobtrusive shine. As the Layrite is water-based, it is less suitable for rainy days or sweaty movements, as the hairstyle can quickly fall apart.

The Layrite Deluxe Pomade is a medium-firm pomade for a firm hold and a well-groomed, uniform, perfectly fitting hairstyle without looking greasy. The typical gel grooves in the hair are foreign to the Layrite. It is best suited for short or medium-length, thin to normal hair. It is fun to use. to try out all kinds of hairstyles without regrets. Be it slicked back hairstyles in the style of the 1930s and 40s, an Elvis quiff or other popular hairstyles of the 1950s, such as flat top, DA or pomp. It is even perfect for modern hair effects, such as spikes. The Layrite looks like an orange-colored apricot jelly. And when you run your finger through it, it feels like a solid jelly. It smells really delicious like vanilla cookies with apricot jam. You almost want to bite into it.

The Layrite Deluxe Pomade is used on dry or wet hair. The manufacturer - Hawleywood's Barbershop - recommends wet the hair with a hair tonic beforehand for the best results. It can also be done without, but then there is much less time for styling, as the pomade sets very quickly.

Wash the Layrite Deluxe Pomade out almost automatically, with just water. No shampoo is required. As soon as the hair is dry again, it also seems to have gained some volume. If you still want to clean your hair thoroughly, you can use a shampoo.

The pomade is packaged in a sturdy plastic container with an elegantly embossed lid.
