A new sheriff is in town!

Firm, firm, the new "HEAVY" pomade "The Sheriff" from MG Pomade. Hand-brewed in the home kitchen in Berlin.

MG stands for Michael Gillert, a big Wild West fan and pomade addict from Berlin. Now in its sixth handmade pomade in a variety of strengths, scents and only the best ingredients, there's something for everyone. Big word of honor!

The hand-drawn, hard-boiled and aged sheriff on the can already indicates that this is a pomade for real guys. The Sheriff is the strongest of the six MG pomades. With hardly any other pomade, design, scent and product are so coherent.

The incorporation into the hair is pleasant and comparatively easy for the experienced user of very strong pomades. A very successful pomade that provides a first-class hold throughout the day and also curls or unruly hair under control. The shine is typical for the strength - slightly silky - and looks natural. For the removal of the pomade you need a little bit of force, this is best done with the back of the nail. Rubbed between the hands, the sheriff shows its delicate side and quickly becomes supple for such a "heavy" pomade and has an excellent "breakdown" without flakes or the like.

At first, a fresh, modern scent unfolds, with a light, leathery note in the aftermath. After a short while, a light citrus note wafts around us, along with spicy-woody, almost resinous leg notes. The aroma is already something special and also the unique selling point of this handmade pomade. Again and again, the scent blows around us and is again easily perceived. Here we find, the Sheriff has a fragrance that is also well received by the masses and will bring the wearer one or two compliments. Michael has remained true to his line, however, because we also find already known nuances here in this "heavy " pomade again.

What we can really emphasize positively here is the easy incorporation of the Heavy-Hold Pomade. It remains flexible and does not make a "helmet feeling" at all. The next morning, all you need to freshen up is a few squirts of hair tonic, restyle and you're done. This also makes it a very economical pomade. As we are already used to from the MG pomades, only the best ingredients are used and as always without unnecessary ingredients.

Last but not least, here we have the point of washability. What can we say: we are extremely surprised at how easy it is to wash out this "heavy" pomade. The experienced user knows how difficult and troublesome it can sometimes be to wash out very firm pomades. Here, too, the Sheriff shows its gentle side. We got three full fingers of pomade washed out in a good two washes with a generous amount of shampoo.

Here's a little extra info:

Due to the high wax content in the pomade, it may be that a "puck" forms in the can, especially during the colder months. This means that the pomade contracts and could turn in the can when removed. However, this is not a defect in the product. The best way to process the pomade is at a room temperature of about 22 degrees. At this temperature, the pomade also lays back smoothly in the can. If this is not the case, press your thumb in the middle of the pomade when taking it out, at the same time push the pomade out in small amounts along the edge with the back of the thumbnail of your other hand. Rather more often in smaller quantities take out the pomade, rub and work into the hair. This makes even a bang "heavy" pomade fun and easy to style.
