DAX Pomade is ideal for styling soft or dry hair, or for a shiny finish. This wonderful pomade is DAX's oldest product still in production. It contains bergamot (soothes scalp irritations), nourishing oils such as coconut, olive, and castor oil, and has a mild woodruff scent.

The DAX pomade is an excellent product for pomade beginners. It is comparable to Murray's Super Light. This pomade is softer than most pomades. This has the advantage that you need little pomade to make your hairstyle look natural and fresh. However, you shouldn't put too much in your hair, as it can quickly make it look greasy.

DAX Pomade is also a nourishing pomade for the colder seasons or anytime to care for dry hair ends. In summer, this soft pomade should be used sparingly, as it can easily run out of your hair.

The Effect

With this pomade, you can achieve a natural to extremely shiny look, depending on the amount used. It is also suitable for the care of dry hair and brittle ends. The oil contained in coconut, olive, and castor oil makes hair soft and gives it a beautiful shine. Bergamot helps relieve scalp discomfort.
 

What hairstyles is this product suitable for?

The DAX pomade is suitable for all hairstyles that require a strong shine. This includes all hairstyles from the 1930s and 1950s, such as the Elvis quiff, the ducktail, or the pompadour. It is used as a second pomade for a shiny finish, i.e., the DAX pomade adds even more shine to the hairstyle over hair already styled with a stronger pomade.

It is also perfect for a natural look, i.e., all hairstyles where the hair should not look overly styled.
  

Consistency and Scent

The DAX pomade is very pleasant. It is green, soft, and very shiny. It has a very pleasant, mild lemon scent.

For dry hair ends:

A small fingertip of pomade is enough. Rub this between your fingers and spread it over the ends of your hair in a finger-width motion. Important: Don't use too much at first, so your hair doesn't look too greasy or heavy. Only when you're satisfied with the result can you start experimenting.
 

For a natural, loose hairstyle:

If you love your hairstyle and don't really want to style it, DAX Pomade will help you achieve a refreshing shine. At the same time, your hair will look much more cared for and even.

So how do you proceed? A fingertip of pomade is sufficient here too. Rub it between your hands and then smooth it evenly over your hair, creating a very thin film. You can also run it loosely between your hair. Important: Don't use too much at first, so your hair doesn't look too heavy or oily. Just wait a few minutes before using it for the first time. The pomade is warmed by the scalp and takes effect after 10-20 minutes. It will then become soft and shiny. Only when you are satisfied with the result can you try adding more pomade.

For a shiny 1950s-style hairstyle:

First, style your hair into the desired shape. For an Elvis quiff, you can achieve this with the help of very firm pomade such as DAX Wave & Groom or Murray's Superior Hair Dressing Pomade. These pomades will already give your hair a beautiful shine.

To give your hairstyle even more shine, proceed as follows:

Take a fingerful of pomade. Rub it between your fingers or hands. Then glide it over your already styled hairstyle to create a thin layer of shine—the DAX pomade essentially acts as a glaze. Repeat this process as needed until you achieve the desired effect.

Please also make sure that you start with a small amount of pomade (e.g., just a fingertip full) and wait a few minutes after application until the pomade has developed. Using too much DAX pomade could make your hair look too greasy. It's best to try it out for yourself to see what dosage you like best. It's also fun. to have fun with lots of pomade on the weekend.
