Lockhart's ENGIMA is an ideal product for loose or textured hairstyles that require a lot of volume. But "messie" and "out of bed" styles can also be styled with it.
As expected, the light beige Cream Tonic can be removed without any effort and rubbed between the hands. The tonic can be rubbed between the hands and worked into the hair without any problems. The strong hold is not immediately given, only after blow-drying and this is where the volume is created. The hairstyle is best styled with your fingers or any comb. The tonic is not designed for fine comb lines or classic hairstyles, but for grippy, textured and voluminous hairstyles that need a strong hold and can also be styled at any time.
The Enigma is not completely matt, but the hair gets a minimal, healthy shine that does not look oily. Washing out is water-based, typically very easy and you only need a little shampoo. According to Steve Lockhart, the Enigma is formulated to make hair feel even healthier after washing.
The scent is complex, fresh, spicy and very strong at first. After a short time in the hair, it becomes milder and remains unobtrusively noticeable all day long.
