Water-based matte pomade with medium-firm hold and a mild fruity, leather scent. Made of almost pure natural ingredients. Handmade in Sweden
The Matt Clay is the first hair pomade from the Mr Bear Family. With its usual high quality, the pomade is water-based and yet made of almost all-natural ingredients and without Coplymer (microplastics). The many contained plant extracts and oils maintain not only hair but also the scalp. As the name suggests, the pomade is matte, but offers a very silky natural shine depending on the amount used. The hold is in the medium to firm range and can be combed at any time, even without water.
The consistency is unusually waxy for a clay and you need a little more power to get it out of the can. Spread between the hands, it is beautifully supple and pleasant to distribute in the best dry hair. The scent is masculine and old school. A fresh top note of thyme and raspberries that tones down and lands in a warm scent of leather, wood and suede.
Because of the water base washing it out is not a problem, but it needs some shampoo or soap to be removed without leaving any residue.
Packed in a nice polished aluminium bottle with pump head.

Schöner Duft.
Der Duft ist wirklich angenehm kräftig und auch über den Tag über immer wieder dezent wahrnehmbar. Eine brauchbare Clay.
Etwas schwieriger bei der Entnahme und beim Einbringen. Halt ist auch ok.
Werde trotzdem nicht ganz warm mit ihr.
Verglichen mit der grauen Reuzel oder gar mit der Matte Clay von Lockhart, zieht sie bei mir ganz klar den kürzeren.
Die anderen Beiden nehme ich tatsächlich lieber her.
Nur wenn ich Lust auf den Duft habe, kommt die Bear Family zum Einsatz.
Mein neues lieblings-Clay
Bisher war für mich der Daimon Barber Texture Clay der Favorit, da kein anderer an das Ergebnis hernagekommen ist. Der Mr. Bear Family Clay übertrifft den DB sogar noch. Noch mehr Halt und noch matteres Finish - dennoch wirken die Haare nie ausgetrocknet oder strohig.
Derzeit für Matte Frisuren mein Absoluter Favorit.
Der Duft ist deutlich intensiver als beim Daimon Barber - wenn man ihn mag ein Vorteil, wenn man es nicht mag eher nicht. Werde als nächstes das andere Clay von Mr.Bear mit dem anderen Duft testen.
