Klar
In 1840 Philip Klar began in Heidelberg with the boiling of soap and laid the foundation stone of a tradition of Klar Seifenmanufaktur (Klar soap manufacturing company) that continues to this day. Today Klar is Germany's oldest soap factory, now in its fifth generation. And still in Heidelberg, Germany.
