Depending on the amount applied, it creates a naturally glossy to intensely shiny finish without setting the hair hard. The light hold is suitable for relaxed, flexible hairstyles and smoothing individual flyaways. The hair remains soft, movable and can be reshaped throughout the day using a comb or brush. When applied sparingly, the pomade gives the hair a polished, natural shine. A larger amount creates a more pronounced traditional pomade look with considerably greater shine. First create the desired hairstyle using a firm- or heavy-hold pomade. Then rub a very small amount of DAX Pomade between your palms and lightly smooth it over the surface of the finished hairstyle. This largely preserves the strong hold of the base pomade while giving the hair considerably more elegant shine. Consistency and fragrance The green pomade has a pleasantly soft, creamy consistency. It can be scooped from the jar without resistance, quickly distributed between the palms and worked effortlessly through the hair. The fragrance is subtle and traditional. Fresh citrus notes and delicate bergamot combine to create a clean, uncomplicated fragrance profile that remains pleasantly understated. How to use Scoop a small amount of DAX Pomade from the jar with your fingertips and rub it between your palms. Distribute evenly through dry or slightly damp hair from the roots to the ends. Applying the pomade to dry hair provides slightly more control and definition. It distributes especially evenly through slightly damp hair and creates a sleeker finish with more shine. Shape the hair as desired using a comb or brush. For additional shine, gradually and sparingly apply more product. Buildup and washing out As a traditional oil-based pomade, DAX Pomade cannot be removed completely with water alone. A light product residue – the typical buildup – can deliberately be used as a foundation for styling over the following days. A little water or hair tonic makes the hair smooth and combable again the next morning. For complete removal, a thorough cleansing shampoo is recommended.
