The medium weight pomade from Schorem - the cult barbers of Rotterdam
A petrolatum based, medium weight, easy to handle pomade with a nice scent of green apples and a discreet shine. The pomade comes in a very cool, thin tin with the sketch of a house pig as well as with nice nostalgic ornaments. The shown pig is a hint on the pomade origins from the 17th and 18th century, where fat from pigs has been used for pomades. "Reuzel" means "lard" in dutch. Made in the USA.
The hairdressers of Schorem from the Netherlands are cult. No more, no less - in their barber salon in Rotterdam they will only provide 10 haircuts. For these 10 haircuts customers are already 2 hours before opening waiting in the line. Without appointments. And when by 10 o'clock the Barbershop opens its doors, 50 customers have to be sent away as the Schorem barbers are fully booked out for the day.
Now the long awaitened pomade is finally here. The Green Reuzel pomade is a waxy medium hold oil based pomade. It is easy to handle and to comb. It is petrolatum based, containing mostly traditional ingredients like beeswax, mineral oil, as well as tea tree oil and emu oil. Its mild scent of green apples is again a reminder of the first pomades, which used apples as a scent.

Klasse Pomade
Ich verwende erst seit kurzem Pomade. Angefangen hatte ich mit einer sehr weichen. Jetzt im Hochsommer war mir der Halt aber zu wenig und somit hab ich diese mittelfeste probiert.
Zuerst der Schock, die Pomade ist recht fest in der Dose und man kann sie nicht so leicht aufnehmen mit dem Finger. Aber wenn man mit dem Finger so richtig fest rein fährt, dann geht es.
Anwendung ist dann wie gehabt sehr einfach. Der Duft ist spitze und man riecht auch nach mehreren Stunden immer wieder eine feine Apfel-Note. Das gefällt mir sehr gut.
Leider sind die Versandkosten hier im Shop doch ziemlich hoch für mich als Österreicher. Aber Lieferung war dafür wieder recht schnell.
