The JS SLOANE Medium Weight Brilliantine is a medium weight modern hair cream for an easy styling of a classic 1940/50s look. Ideal for thin and normal hair. It combines the elegance and aura of the "Old Hollywood" with the amenities of a modern hair styling product. The claim "has a firm, but flexible feel and hold" already says a lot about its consistency. Even the packaging is an homage to classic barbershops: amber coloured box with a twist cap and a paper ribbon. The JS SLOANE pomade is very pleasant to use, gives the hair gives a medium, flexible hold with an elegant, silky lustrous shine. As usual in old Hollywood, also the JS SLOANE Brilliantine leaves the hair fragrant like freshly showered.
The effect
The JS SLOANE Medium Weight Brilliantine is a slightly shiny pomade. If you want more shine, apply into slightly damp hair. If you want more hold, just take up more of Brilliantine. It strengthens the hair very well and feels throughout neither greasy nor sticky. The hair can be combed all day. Some water makes combing easier.

The JS SLOANE Brilliantine is best for sharp, classic hairstyles a la Gatsby. But also for styling of all classic and modern hairstyles it can be used, like in the New York barbershops. For one, it is perfect for light and loose hairstyles or even a neat side parting because of their lightweight yet good hold. And it is very easy to wash out.
The packaging
The packaging in a sophisticated vintage look is the highlight of JS SLOANE Brilliantine. It reminds of old school Barber Shops and bathrooms of stylish hotels of the 1930s era. A beautiful, golden-brown colored paper strip crowns the top like a band on a Havana cigar. In the middle of the image of a clean, pomaded man promising "Keeps hair neat all day".
The consistency and fragrance
Although JS SLOANE is a water based pomade, it differs from all other products. Because the JS SLOANE Brilliantine is pink pearl colored and perfumed with a soapy clean, fruity and fresh rose fragrance. The scent is mild in the hair, and leaves the hair all day smell like freshly showered. The consistency is also unusual: Creamy, medium-firm, slightly sticky, silky. The finger-thumb test reveals long thin fibers. This is what make the hair hold together. Especially men with fine hair will appreciate this.
Application
The JS SLOANE Brilliantine unfold its effect at its best if you take only a little - a finger tip to a finger full. Then comb and use a hairbrush with real bristle.

Perfekt für dünnes Haar
Ich habe sehr dünnes Haar und mittlerweile auch leichte Geheimratsecken und hatte es schon immer schwer das passende Stylingmittel zu finden.
Umso mehr freut es mich JS SLOANE Brilliantine gefunden zu haben. Guter Geruch, perfekter Halt in Kombi mit Wasser und vorallem ganz wenig reicht schon und das Haar sitzt trotzdem. Nicht vergleichbar mit dem Drogerie Zeugs. Mein neuer Partner in Sachen Haarstyling.
Sehr zu empfehlen
Mittlerweile ist die JS Sloane meine absolute Lieblingspomade. Ich habe schon einige ausprobiert, aber keine gefällt mir so gut wie diese. Es handelt sich dabei um eine wasserbasierte Pomade die sich sehr gut verarbeiten und ohne Rückstände leicht wieder auswaschen lässt. Das Haar erhält einen dezenten seidenweichen Glanz und genügend Festigkeit für den ganzen Tag. Der fruchtig-frische Rosen-Duft gefällt mir persönlich außerordentlich gut. Frauen werden dadurch wie magisch angezogen. Einfach super!
