A typical scent of old US barbershops since the 18th century has been Bay Rum. The scent of Virgin Island Bay Rum is clear, spicy and masculine: it smells strongly of sweet cloves at the beginning, and then fades into a lovely, mild cinnamon aroma, which stands out from the usual aqua scents, especially in the hot summer months, and brings positive reactions.

The Pinaud Clubman Virgin Island Bay Rum (pronounced: Pinnoh Klabmen Wördschinn Eiländ Bäi Ram, dt.: Virgin Island Bay Rum) is a really pleasant, light aftershave which is also known as "Body Splash" - i.e. body refreshment. To do this, you cover your freshly showered body with this scent and enjoy the pleasant feedback. You are guaranteed to receive compliments, especially on hot days and muggy nights. Bay Rum is generally less suitable as an everyday scent for the office or the theater.

The aftershave is dark brown and burns a little. But it is fun to apply 1-2 minutes after shaving. and rewards you with smooth, soft skin and a summery scent that just lets you relax.

The packaging is very nice. Although it is no longer made of glass, a lot of effort has been made to show appreciation for the tradition of this fragrance. The beautifully shaped bottle is embossed on the left and right: "Ed. Pinaud - Paris - New York" and "Insist on the genuine Ed. Pinaud". The sturdy plastic bottle is suitable for travel.
