Directions:

Moisten the face with warm water. Apply a small amount of shaving cream to damp skin or place it in a shaving bowl and work into a lather with a shaving brush. Alternatively, the cream can be applied directly to the skin. Shave using a safety razor, cartridge razor, or straight razor.

For an especially close shave, follow the traditional multi-pass method: first shave with the grain, then across the grain, and if desired, against the grain. Rinse thoroughly with cold water afterward and finish with an aftershave.
