Light floral fragrance in the 1950s style
A floral, beautiful, nostalgic scent of sweet vanilla and dry bergamot. Similar to the Windsor after shave, but without menthol. Packed in a heavy glass bottle.
The difficult to-find "Alpa Windsor" series has been produced by the Czech tradition manufacturer Alpa, which has been famous since 1913 for its Alpa spiritus vini gallici. This Windsor Eau de Cologne (in Czech: "Kolinska voda") differs from the Windsor Aftershave by a red stripe on the label. The fragrance is also not as strong as the aftershave, but rather a touch sweeter. Nevertheless is does not glide into the sweet, musky scent, but is caught harmonically by a dry bergamot note.
The Windsor Cologne, is light and consists mainly of alcohol and water. It is, despite of its old fashioned fragrance to this day a wonderful summer fragrance that gives the wearer a neat, unusual and nostalgic-unobtrusive appearance.

The only product of the company at that time - the ALPA rubbing alcohol - was such a hit, that in 1938 there were 196 employees necessary to meet the demand. After the second World War the company moved in 1948 to the city of Velké Mezirici. Today Alpa is one of the oldest and most prestigious cosmetics manufacturers in the Czech Republic. For fans of original nostalgic scents from the imperial era, the supply of Alpa as a true treasure trove. One can find here after shaves and eau de colognes with the scent of violet, lily of the valley, clove, Classique or Fougere.
