The "Death Grip Moustache Wax" is an extremely solid, very resinous and tough, handmade mustache wax. The wax must be softened with a hairdryer before use. Rubbing or warming it up with body heat, as with other waxes, is not possible. Without warming it up with a hairdryer, you may experience ripped hairs or painful pulling. However, those who make the effort will be rewarded with a hold that won't let up, even during sports, swimming, or scorching heat. The extra-strong, resinous formula ensures a very strong hold. The mustache won't budge a millimeter and will be reliably held in place all day long. To remove the wax from the mustache, work a few drops of beard oil into the mustache to soften the wax. The wax can then be combed through or washed out with a beard shampoo. Similar to oil-based pomades, the wax can only be completely washed out after several washes. However, it can also be left in the beard until the next day and only needs to be briefly warmed up with a hairdryer in the morning, after which it can be styled again immediately – making it very economical.

Since the wax contains no additional perfume or fragrance oil, the scent is primarily pine resin, reminiscent of pine tar. The scent is initially strong, but fades within 1-2 hours and is then no longer noticeable.

It comes in a small tin tin featuring the iconic Death Grip skull and curled-up mustache and consists only of the three natural products beeswax, lanolin, and pine resin. Each tin also contains an enclosed scraper with the same logo as the tin, reminiscent of a guitar pick, to facilitate removal.

Application:

First, warm the wax directly in the tin with a hairdryer or use the included scraper to take a small amount of beard wax, which you then blow-dry onto the scraper. Next, apply the softened wax either directly to the beard or spread it between your thumb and index finger and massage—or smooth—it into the beard hair. Continue blow-drying the wax into the beard while styling to keep it soft. Make sure to set the hairdryer to a warm setting, not a hot one, to avoid damaging your skin and hair. If you leave the hairdryer off or set it to a cold setting, the wax will set within a few seconds and secure the beard in the desired shape. Tip: To distribute the wax even more evenly, it is helpful to first comb the wax into the mustache with a fine comb while blow-drying and then shape it with your fingers.
