It is rather a solid water based matt paste, yet it is to handle like a pomade. It stays combable all day and contains - in addition to water-based typical chemicals - classic ingredients like lanolin, petrolatum and castor oil. These give care to the hair and are responsible for the pleasant styling features of a traditional pomade. The effect The Larite Cement gives a firm hold and at the admired formability of a classic pomade for the whole day. You can comb through the hair anytime and re-style it on demand, the hair will not stick together like they would do with gel. What is different to other products: despite the oils in the formula, the Layrite Cement gives a matt finish to the hair without drying them out or make them porous. The hair feels groomed and healthy, but without any sheen. The jar looks great everywhere, in the bathroom, on the night table or on the seat of a 1954 Mercury Monterey. If you unscrew the can, there is a black, moistened sponge on the pomade. Layrite dispenses with unsightly preservatives and can thus ensure that the pomade does not dry out even after prolonged storage. When used daily, the sponge is no longer needed. Application The Layrite Cement is easy to get out of the jar and to apply into the hair. Take a finger full of pomade, rub it between the hands and massage it evenly into the hair.
