For the formulation of the Goon Grease UWB, Steve Lockhart worked for a long time. For everyone who loves the Goon Grease oil-based pomades but has wanted the water-based Goon Grease to be washable, this product combines the best of both worlds. The handling is typically very easy with water-based systems. So the Goon Grease UWB can be removed from the can without resistance. The consistency is soft and pliable, a little different than most gel pomades. Working in goes by itself, ideally in the still slightly damp hair. For a long time, you have the feeling of being styled with a solid oil-based pomade for your usual styling and the immediate good hold. The Goon Grease UWB does not harden now, but remains flexible and combable during the day. Due to the higher oil content, the hair feels pleasantly cared for after washing.
The gloss is to be found in the upper area. Very strong at the beginning, but becomes less during the day. However, this then remains in the upper middle area, as with most water-based pomades.
The scent is called "SPICY GOON". Here Steve Lockhart tells us how he is composed:

Erstklassige UWB mit grandiosem Duft
Super gute Pomade, fester halt der den ganzen Tag hält, lässt sich uWB - typisch super auswaschen, hat nen hammermässigen Duft - errinnert mich an süße Seife - Definitiv meine derzeitige Lieblingspomade!!! Ein Finger reicht. Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!

Falls das mit den UWB Pomaden so weitergeht, dann werde ich mich langsam aber sicher von den OB verabschieden. Guter Geruch, leichte Verarbeitung, Super Halt, Glanz ist auch vorhanden und super leicht ausgewaschen! Top!

Meine erste UWB
Gestern geliefert - heute geschmiert!
Diese ist meine erste UWB Pomade. Die letzten Jahre habe ich fast ausschließlich WB benutzt, wollte nun aber doch wieder mehr zu den OBs zurück und habe mich daher für diese UWB entschieden.
zum Halt: ist wie hier im Shop beschrieben, irgendwo zwischen mittel und fest - die Frisur hält auch bei den gerade recht warmen Temparaturen sehr gut. Obwohl die Pomade etwas fester ist und aussieht wie eine feste Handcreme, wird sie dann in den Handflächen sehr cremig und schlussendlich sogar fast ölig und durchsichtig.
zum Duft: sehr angenehm und sehr dezent - es handelt sich also nicht um eine Duftbombe, wobei man dazu sagen muss, dass die Pomade im Haar etwas kräftiger duftet als man es von der Intensität in der Dose her erwarten würde.
zum Glanz: hier hätte ich mir etwas mehr erwartet, da sie ja hier im Pomade Shop als "Stark Glänzend" beschrieben ist. Das ist (zumindest in meinem Haar) eher nicht der Fall, der Glanz ist eher im mittleren Bereich angesiedelt.
Zur Auswaschbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen, allerdings ging die Pomade nach dem Einarbeiten sehr leicht mit warmen Wasser von den Händen ab - was mich vermuten lässt, dass es beim Haar ähnlich sein wird.
Insgesamt bleibt es aber ein tolles Produkt!
