The Layrite pomades from the world famous "Hawleywoods Barbershop" in California are already absolutely iconic and they have an addition now: The new Layrite Cement. It is rather a solid water based matt paste, yet it is to handle like a pomade. It stays combable all day and contains - in addition to water-based typical chemicals - classic ingredients like lanolin, petrolatum and castor oil. These give care to the hair and are responsible for the pleasant styling features of a traditional pomade. The effect The Larite Cement gives a firm hold and at the admired formability of a classic pomade for the whole day. You can comb through the hair anytime and re-style it on demand, the hair will not stick together like they would do with gel. What is different to other products: despite the oils in the formula, the Layrite Cement gives a matt finish to the hair without drying them out or make them porous. The hair feels groomed and healthy, but without any sheen. Therefore the Layrite Cement is perfect for matt summer styles, even for longer hair, for surfer and beach boy looks, but also for business styles. For washing out, plain water is enough, as usual for Layrite. Due to lanolin, petrolatum and castor oil the hair feel silky and smooth afterwards. And that is also how it feels, just a little more solid than one would expect. It is quite easy to get out of the jar, yet it is thick and sticky. Between the palms it gets pleasantly smooth and is easy to apply into the hair. The scent is mild, sweet and a little vanilla and reminds of a cotton candy from a funfair. With Layrite Cement, you will scent good enough to eat to the ladies. The packaging The Layrite Cement is - like any Layrite pomade - packaged in a white plastic jar with a black label. On that label, there is a sketch of a nostalgic pin up girl in a 1940s look, that leans against a barber pole. The jar looks great everywhere, in the bathroom, on the night table or on the seat of a 1954 Mercury Monterey. If you unscrew the can, there is a black, moistened sponge on the pomade. Layrite dispenses with unsightly preservatives and can thus ensure that the pomade does not dry out even after prolonged storage. When used daily, the sponge is no longer needed. Application The Layrite Cement is easy to get out of the jar and to apply into the hair. Take a finger full of pomade, rub it between the hands and massage it evenly into the hair. Since it is based on a combination of water, lanolin (wool fat) and beeswax and silicone.  Effect  The Layrite Super Shine Cream offers one thing: an incredibly high shine. The gloss effect is already evident with the first combing. Unlike traditional, chemical-free pomades in the hair it doesn't feel oily at all. The hold is medium weight, but thanks to lanolin, lanolin wax and beeswax very stable.  For which hairstyles is this suitable for this product  The Layrite Super Shine Cream is suitable for all the hairstyles that should shine. Heavy weight waterbased pomade: Holds like a wax, yet washes out like a gel! A gel-pomade that does not dry out in your hair, though it gives a very strong hold thanks to beeswax.
