It can be scooped from the tin with moderate pressure and quickly becomes more pliable when rubbed between the palms. It creates some tug during application but is considerably easier to distribute than Murray’s Superior or X-Tra Heavy. For an even result, apply several small amounts one after another. The Scent The fragrance has a mild, traditional barbershop character. It is noticeable immediately after application but remains pleasantly understated in the hair and combines easily with an aftershave or fragrance. Application Remove a small amount from the tin with your finger and rub it thoroughly between your palms. Work several small portions evenly through the hair from the roots to the ends. For stronger hold and a more controlled finish, apply Nu Nile to dry hair. In slightly damp or towel-dried hair, it spreads more easily and creates a more pronounced wet look. Shape the desired hairstyle with a comb or hairbrush. Gradually add more product if additional hold or shine is required. Restyling and Buildup Because Nu Nile does not harden, the hairstyle can be recombed or reshaped at any time. A little water or a few splashes of hair tonic are often sufficient to refresh the style the following day. A light amount of product remaining in the hair can deliberately be used as buildup. This usually reduces the amount of fresh pomade required over the following days. Washing Out As a traditional oil-based pomade, Murray’s Nu Nile cannot be removed completely with water alone. How to use Scoop a small amount of Tokei-Ihto from the tin with your fingertips and rub it thoroughly between your palms until the pomade becomes soft and evenly distributed. Applying the pomade to towel-dried hair allows for especially smooth distribution and creates a sleeker finish with more shine. Applying it to dry hair provides greater grip, texture and control. Shape the hair as desired using a comb or brush. For additional hold, gradually apply more product in small amounts. Buildup and washing out As a traditional oil-based pomade, MG Pomade Tokei-Ihto cannot be removed completely with water alone.
