DAX Washable Hair Wax – Medium Hold and Easier Washout

DAX Washable Hair Wax combines the grippy styling properties of a traditional hair wax with improved washability. Its petrolatum- and beeswax-based formula provides dependable control, while PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate helps keep the hair smooth and makes the product easier to remove with shampoo.
The hair wax is particularly suitable for short to medium-length hairstyles. It adds texture, definition and a polished shine without hardening completely. The hairstyle remains flexible and can be reshaped throughout the day using your fingers or a comb.

Medium Hold for Everyday Styling
DAX Washable Hair Wax provides dependable medium hold and is ideal for hairstyles that should look controlled without appearing stiff. Beeswax adds grip and structure, while the oil-based foundation maintains the flexible styling properties of a traditional pomade.
The hold can be built gradually by applying several small amounts. This allows individual sections to be defined without unnecessarily overloading the hair with product.
Medium Shine and a Polished Finish
The hair receives a visible but not excessive shine. Applied to dry hair, the finish appears slightly more natural and textured. In slightly damp or towel-dried hair, the wax spreads more easily and creates a more intense shine.
Because the product never hardens completely, the hair remains comfortably movable and easy to recomb.

Consistency and Application
DAX Washable Hair Wax has a firm yet pleasantly smooth consistency. It can be scooped from the tin with light pressure and quickly becomes softer when rubbed between the palms.
For even application, begin with a small amount and rub it thoroughly between your hands. Work it through the hair from the roots to the ends, adding further small amounts gradually if required.
PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate for Easier Washout
The included PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate acts as an emollient while also supporting easier removal of the hair wax. This makes the product easier to wash out than many traditional oil- and wax-based pomades.
However, “washable” does not mean that the wax can be removed completely with water alone. Shampoo is required for thorough cleansing.
The Scent
The fragrance is warm, floral and subtly sweet. Its soft, honey-like nuances give the product a classic character without becoming overly dominant in the hair.
Application
Remove a small amount from the tin with your fingertips and rub it thoroughly between your palms. Work it evenly through dry, towel-dried or slightly damp hair.
Shape the desired hairstyle using your fingers, a comb or a brush. Applied to dry hair, the wax provides greater grip, definition and hold. In slightly damp hair, it spreads more easily and creates a smoother, glossier finish.
Gradually add further small amounts if additional control or definition is required.
Restyling
Because DAX Washable Hair Wax never hardens completely, the hairstyle can be reshaped throughout the day using your fingers or a comb.
If the product has already set more firmly, a very small amount of water can make restyling easier.
Washing Out
DAX Washable Hair Wax is easier to remove than many traditional oil-based wax pomades. Warm water helps loosen the product, but a thorough shampoo wash is recommended for complete removal.
Depending on the amount applied, your hair type and the level of buildup, an additional wash may be required.

Nichts besonderes
Diese Dax bietet nichts, was andere Dax- oder sonstige Produkte nicht auch könnten.
Sie riecht fruchtig, was man echt mögen muss, hat eine gute Härte und lässt sich für routinierte Schmierer gut Verarbeiten. Das "washable" sollte man nicht zu ernst nehmen, denn sie lässt sich nicht besser auswaschen als andere Pomaden.

Auch die Dax Washable ist nicht schlecht. Mit ihr kann man seine Haare in eine nach Belieben formbare Masse verwandeln; der Halt ist erstaunlich. Nur der fruchtige Duft erinnert mich persönlich zu sehr an ein bestimmtes Supermarkt-Stylingprodukt. Allerdings ist der Duft noch relativ dezent und stört nicht weiter.
