Corleone Sticky Stuff Pomade was developed for classic hairstyles that require dependable control and visible shine. Its water-based formula provides considerably more control than a light styling cream while washing out much more easily than a traditional oil-based pomade.

Corleone originates from the renowned New York Barbershop in Rotterdam. The product range draws on the experience of its barbers and combines traditional men’s styling with convenient modern performance.

Firm Hold with Medium-to-High Shine

Sticky Stuff provides a firm hold that may feel medium-firm to firm depending on the amount used and the individual hair type. Its tacky texture creates substantial control and helps shape even thicker or more unruly hair into a clean style.

The manufacturer describes the finish as high shine. In practice, the result ranges from medium to high shine, depending on the amount applied and the moisture remaining in the hair. Application to slightly damp hair produces a glossier, more traditional finish, while dry hair emphasises hold and definition.

Despite its firmness, the pomade spreads well between the palms. To minimise tugging, emulsify it thoroughly and begin with small amounts. Several thin layers are easier to distribute evenly than one large scoop.

Sticky Stuff features a fresh, spicy and elegantly dry masculine fragrance reminiscent of a modern eau de cologne. It smells clean and refined and remains subtly noticeable in the hair after styling.

The fragrance was developed by Robert Lagerman, founder of New York Barbershop Rotterdam. It gives the pomade a distinctive identity that suits the brand’s classically elegant presentation.

Directions

Begin with a small amount according to hair length and rub it thoroughly between the palms. Distribute evenly from the back of the head towards the front, working the product as close to the roots as possible. Shape the hair with a comb or hairbrush.

Apply to slightly damp hair for more shine and smoother distribution. Dry hair produces greater grip, definition and hold. Add further small amounts as required instead of applying too much product at once.

Water-based pomades may become firmer during the day. To refresh the style, lightly dampen the hands or comb before reshaping. Excessive water may reduce the hold.

Washout

The water-soluble formula is considerably easier to remove than an oil-based pomade. Warm water will often dissolve a large proportion of the product. For completely clean hair and the removal of fragrance or styling residue, follow with a mild shampoo.
