For particularly thick or curly hair, build the hold in layers. Only apply another amount once the previous portion has been distributed evenly throughout the hair. Buildup and Restyling Voodoo Brew II is ideal for creating a multi-day pomade buildup. Some of the product remains in the hair after washing and provides an exceptionally stable styling foundation the following day. A little water, a few splashes of hair tonic or a small amount of a softer pomade can be used to refresh the style. The hair can then be recombed more easily and given additional shine. Washing Out As a particularly firm oil- and wax-based pomade, High Life Voodoo Brew II cannot be removed with water alone.
