The Reuzel Red Pomade combines reliable medium hold with a glossy, traditional pomade finish. Its water-soluble gel formula is easy to apply, sets after styling and can be reactivated with a little water whenever restyling is required.

The compact 35 g tin fits easily into a toiletry bag or hand luggage. This makes it perfect for travelling, weekend trips, refreshing a hairstyle throughout the day or trying Reuzel Red before purchasing the full-size version.

Medium Hold and High Shine

The smooth gel pomade distributes effortlessly through the hair and provides sufficient control for both classic and modern hairstyles. After a few minutes, the hold becomes firmer and helps keep the desired style in place for many hours.

For Normal and Finer Hair

With its medium hold, Reuzel Red is particularly suitable for fine to normal hair and anyone who finds Reuzel Blue too firm. It provides reliable control without making the hair feel unnecessarily heavy.

For very thick, dense or unruly hair, the stronger Reuzel Blue Pomade is recommended.

Water-Based and Reactivatable

Once dry, the hairstyle becomes more stable than it would with a traditional oil-based pomade. To reshape the hair later, simply add a little water. Lightly dampen the hair or run a wet comb through it to make the pomade workable again.

Fragrance

Reuzel Red features the range’s distinctive vanilla cola fragrance. Sweet vanilla combines with a lightly sparkling cola note to give the pomade a pleasantly nostalgic yet modern character.

Iconic Reuzel Design

The aluminium tin features the famous Reuzel pig surrounded by nostalgic ornamentation. The name “Reuzel” is Dutch for “lard” and refers to the origins of traditional pomades, which were once made from animal fats. Modern Reuzel Red does not contain lard.

How to Use

Rub a small amount between the palms and distribute it evenly from the roots to the ends. Shape the hair into the desired style with a comb or brush. Add more product gradually if additional hold is required.

Tip: Apply to slightly damp hair for an especially smooth result with high shine. Use it in dry or pre-blow-dried hair for more grip and a stronger hold.

Washout

Thanks to its water-soluble formula, Reuzel Red rinses out easily with warm water. A mild shampoo is recommended for thoroughly cleansing the hair and scalp.
