The RareCraft Koniak Beard Balm combines rich beard care with reliable shaping and an exceptional fragrance inspired by a fine cognac matured in wooden barrels. Its concentrated blend of butters, waxes and botanical oils conditions facial hair and helps protect the skin underneath against an uncomfortable feeling of dryness.

The balm makes dry or coarse beard hair feel noticeably softer, improves combability and tames flyaway hairs. At the same time, it provides a flexible medium hold without making the beard feel hard or artificial. The result is a well-groomed, naturally shaped beard with a subtle shine.

Rich care with butters, waxes and botanical oils

Shea butter and mango butter form the conditioning base. They melt as the balm is rubbed between the hands, allowing it to spread evenly through the beard. Beeswax and candelilla wax provide shape and control, while a selection of botanical oils helps keep the facial hair supple.

Conditioning and control for the beard

Unlike a pure beard oil, Koniak Beard Balm contains solid butters and waxes. This allows it to remain on the facial hair for longer, group individual sections and give the beard more structure. Flyaway or unruly hairs become easier to control without leaving the beard rigid.

The balm is particularly suitable for medium-length and long beards as well as coarse, dry or curly facial hair. Only a very small amount is required for shorter beards to condition the hair and skin without unnecessary weight.

The Koniak fragrance

The fragrance is inspired by the warm elegance of a matured cognac. Fresh red mandarin provides a lively opening accent. Spices, a smooth cognac accord and distinctive leather give the heart depth and character.

Warm amber, refined woods and patchouli form a calm and masculine base. The result is a harmonious, spicy and gently sweet scent evoking dark wood, fine leather and a glass of good cognac without smelling overtly alcoholic.

Beard balm or beard oil?

The matching RareCraft Koniak Beard Oil focuses on conditioning, softness and reaching the facial skin beneath the beard. It is particularly suitable for stubble, shorter beards or very dry skin.

Koniak Beard Balm adds more shape, control and protection to the beard lengths through its butters and waxes. Both products can be combined: first massage a small amount of beard oil into the skin and facial hair, then apply a little balm for shaping.

How to use

Depending on beard length, scoop out a small amount with the back of a fingernail. Rub it thoroughly between the palms until the balm has completely melted and is evenly distributed.

Work it through a dry or slightly damp beard and massage it down to the underlying skin. Finish by shaping the beard with the fingers, a beard comb or a beard brush.

Begin with a small amount during the first application. Excessive balm may unnecessarily weigh down short or fine beards. Add further small amounts gradually when more control is required.

Note on consistency

Handcrafted products made with natural butters and waxes may develop minor variations in colour, an uneven surface or lighter marks against the glass. These natural changes do not affect the quality or performance of the beard balm.
