Styling and Conditioning in One Product

The current formula places aloe vera and vegetable glycerin at its foundation. Both ingredients support the moisture balance of the hair and scalp. Castor oil and jojoba oil improve softness while helping to control frizz and flyaway hairs.

Candelilla wax and rice bran wax create the medium, workable hold. Kaolin and arrowroot powder add grip and natural texture without producing an excessively dry or highly matte finish.

Use It as a Pre-Styler

A small amount can be worked into damp hair before blow-drying. Styling Treatment improves control during the drying process, reduces flyaways and makes it easier to direct the hair into the desired shape.

After blow-drying, apply another small amount if required to define individual sections and create additional hold. For substantially more volume and control, Styling Treatment can also be combined with O'Douds Matte Paste.

The Fragrance

The fragrance combines aromatic lavender with the clean, invigorating freshness of peppermint. Mandarin, juniper, tea tree and patchouli add citrus, green and subtly earthy nuances.

Rather than smelling like sugary peppermint candy, the composition feels balanced, herbal and mature. O'Douds creates it with essential oils, plant extracts and absolutes instead of synthetic fragrance oils.

How to Use

Scoop out a small amount according to your hair length and lightly spread it between the palms. Work evenly through dry, slightly damp or wet hair from the roots to the ends, then shape with the fingers, a comb or a brush.

Application to dry hair provides greater grip, volume and hold with minimal added shine. In damp or wet hair, the cream distributes more easily and creates a smoother, looser finish with slightly increased shine.

For additional volume, work a small amount into damp hair and blow-dry it into shape. Build greater hold gradually by applying further small amounts where required.

Restyling and Washout

The hairstyle remains flexible throughout the day and can be reshaped whenever required with the fingers or a slightly damp comb.

Thanks to its water-based formula, Styling Treatment is considerably easier to remove than a traditional oil-based pomade. Warm water and a mild shampoo are sufficient for complete cleansing.
