O'Douds Standard Pomade combines the smooth, glossy appearance of a traditional wax pomade with the convenient washout of a modern water-soluble formula. It delivers a firm, slick and pliable hold that keeps the hairstyle controlled for many hours.
Unlike a conventional gel pomade, Standard Pomade does not dry into a hard shell. The hair remains comfortably combable and can be reshaped with the fingers or a comb throughout the day. Plant-Based Waxes for Firm, Pliable Control
Rice bran wax, candelilla wax and carnauba wax create the pomade's strong yet workable hold. The hairstyle remains stable without setting completely hard or feeling brittle.
Castor oil and jojoba oil support smooth application and leave the hair feeling conditioned. The pomade distributes evenly, controls stray hairs and gives the hairstyle a pronounced, classic pomade shine.

Standard Pomade can also control longer or stubborn hair. For exceptionally thick, dense or curly hair, apply a small amount of O'Douds Dry Wax first to increase strength and control.
The Fragrance
The fragrance is a modern interpretation of classic Bay Rum. Spicy West Indian bay forms the warm, aromatic heart of the composition. Juicy blood orange and bright lime provide freshness, while lavender and soft amber add balanced, elegant depth.
The result is a fresh, spicy and subtly fruity barbershop scent with a distinctive personality. O'Douds creates it with essential oils, plant extracts and absolutes rather than synthetic fragrance oils.
How to Use
Scoop out a small amount according to your hair length and lightly spread it between the palms. Apply evenly from the back of the head towards the front, working through dry, damp or wet hair. Shape with the fingers, a comb or a brush.
Application to dry hair provides greater grip, volume and control. Using the pomade in damp or wet hair makes it easier to distribute and creates a smoother finish with increased shine.
For particularly strong hold with reduced shine, apply the pomade to slightly damp hair and blow-dry it into shape. Once the desired form has been created, add another small amount to restore additional shine.
Restyling and Washout
Standard Pomade remains pliable throughout the day and can be restyled whenever required. A small amount of water can be used to reactivate the product.
Its water-soluble formula is considerably easier to remove than a traditional oil-based pomade. According to the manufacturer, most of the product can be rinsed from the hair with water. A mild shampoo is recommended for complete cleansing.
Standard Pomade or Multi-Purpose Pomade?
O'Douds Standard Pomade is water-soluble and designed for anyone who wants firm hold, high shine and convenient washout.
O'Douds Multi-Purpose Pomade is more water-resistant and performs better in heat and high humidity. It remains in the hair for longer but requires a more thorough cleansing routine.

Mega Duft und Halt
Super gut zu verarbeitende Pomade.
Der Duft ist wundervoll.
Der Frau gefällt es auch, weil es nicht zu künstlich und nicht zu aufdringlich ist.
Kann gut verstehen warum der Flo so ein großer Fan ist!

Sehr gute Alternative zur Norm- Pomade
Ich wollte dieses Produkt einfach mal ausprobieren. Ich bin begeistert. Der Duft ist für mich ein sehr schöner citrischer naturgeruch. Habe das Gefühl das da sogar noch ein Pfefferminzgeruch mitschwebt. Aber das kann an dem Indischen Lorbeer liegen. Ich finde den Duft jedenfalls sehr gut. Die Pomade funktioniert sehr gut bei meinen Haaren. Ich würde auch sagen das es eine Mittelfeste Pomade ist mit einem sehr schönen Glanz. Was mir persönlich besonders gefällt ist, das sie bei mir in kleinster Weise die Haare verklebt und sie immer gut durchkämmbar ist. Die angepriesene Natürlichkeit finde ich obendrein auch sehr toll. Also für mich bleibt diese Pomade nun in meinem Sortiment. Einziger kleiner negativer Punkt ist der Preis. Aber wenn man das Glas und die natürlichen Inhalte bedenkt, dann kann. man es auch verstehen.
