Product information "Layrite LIQUID CREAM SHAVE"
Layrite Liquid Shave Cream – liquid shaving cream with Cream Soda fragrance
Layrite Liquid Shave Cream provides a close and comfortably smooth wet shave. The liquid shaving cream can be applied directly to the skin or worked into a lather with a shaving brush. Its sweet vanilla and candyfloss fragrance is reminiscent of Cream Soda, the popular American soft drink, and is unmistakably Layrite. With selected botanical extracts and conditioning oils. Made in the USA.
Layrite became famous worldwide through its pomades and the legendary Hawleywood’s Barbershop in California. With Layrite Liquid Shave Cream, the cult brand brings its distinctive barbershop style to traditional wet shaving.
The liquid shaving cream spreads easily over damp skin and can be worked into a lather without difficulty. It helps prepare the facial hair for shaving and improves the glide of the razor, supporting a close and controlled shave.
The unmistakable Layrite Cream Soda fragrance
Layrite Liquid Shave Cream features the popular Cream Soda fragrance associated with Layrite products. Sweet vanilla notes meet a warm candyfloss accord, giving every shave a distinctive touch of American barbershop nostalgia.
The fragrance is sweet, nostalgic and instantly recognisable. It pairs perfectly with Layrite Aftershave Balm to complete the post-shave grooming routine.
With botanical extracts and conditioning oils
The versatile formula contains extracts of calendula, witch hazel, chamomile, aloe vera, rosehip and sage. It also includes sodium hyaluronate, allantoin and selected oils derived from olive, avocado, hemp seed and geranium.
These ingredients help to maintain a pleasantly conditioned skin feel during and after shaving. The creamy texture creates a smooth layer between the skin and the razor, making it suitable for both a complete wet shave and precise beard outlining.

How to use
Moisten the area to be shaved with warm water. Apply a small amount of Layrite Liquid Shave Cream, distribute it evenly and allow it to soften the facial hair briefly. Shave as usual, then rinse the skin thoroughly with water.
Alternatively, place a small amount in a shaving bowl and work it into a lather using a damp shaving brush and circular movements. Apply the resulting lather to damp skin, leave it on briefly and then shave.

Layrite – Legendary Barbershop Pomades from California
Layrite was founded in 1999 by American master barber Donnie Hawley. The idea was born inside Hawleywood’s Barbershop in Southern California, which became renowned for traditional men’s haircuts, classic shaves and authentic 1940s-inspired barbering culture.
Donnie Hawley wanted an alternative to traditional petroleum-based pomades that were difficult to remove from the hair. The result was a water-soluble pomade with a distinctive promise: “Holds like wax, washes out like gel.”
The brand name originated when a customer remarked that the new pomade was the only product that made his hair “lay right”. From that simple comment, one of the best-known pomade brands in the modern barbershop scene was born.
Water-Based Pomades for Classic Hairstyles
The original Layrite Deluxe Pomade combines medium hold, polished shine and straightforward washout. Superhold Pomade provides additional control for thick or unruly hair, while Supershine Pomade was created for styles requiring a particularly glossy finish.
These pomades are ideal for slick backs, side parts, pompadours and other traditional hairstyles. Their water-soluble formulations set with controlled firmness, can be reactivated with a little water and wash out easily afterwards.
Matte Styles, Texture and Modern Men’s Grooming
Alongside its classic gel pomades, Layrite offers modern styling products such as Natural Matte Cream, Cement Clay, Original Clay and Grooming Spray. They provide texture, natural-looking finishes and different levels of hold and volume.
Shampoos, conditioners, beard care and additional grooming products complete the collection. Every product draws on genuine barbershop experience and is designed to provide reliable performance with straightforward everyday application.
