The traditional formula of yellow beeswax, white beeswax and petrolatum provides medium, flexible hold. It gives the moustache structure and clean definition while remaining comfortably pliable enough to be reshaped with the fingers or a comb throughout the day. Remove a small amount with the back of a fingernail and rub it between the thumb and forefinger until the wax becomes soft and pliable. Work it evenly through the dry moustache, smoothing the hairs outwards from the centre. Use the fingers or a fine moustache comb to create the desired shape. For twisted tips, apply a little more wax to the ends and carefully roll them between the fingers. Begin with a small amount and add more only when required. This preserves flexibility and produces an even, naturally groomed finish.
