Natural finish with minimal shine Despite being described as a “Matte Cream Tonic”, Enigma does not produce a completely dry or chalky finish. The hair gains a very subtle, natural shine without appearing greasy. Kaolin and bentonite provide grip while reducing visible shine. Beeswax and microcrystalline wax support the holding strength, while coconut oil, glycerin, cucumber extract and rosemary extract complement the formula. The fragrance The fragrance of Lockhart’s Enigma is complex, fresh and spicy. It initially smells bold and prominent directly after application. Once in the hair, the composition becomes milder and accompanies the wearer more subtly throughout the day. Top notes: neroli, lemon and grapefruit Heart notes: lavender, jasmine, pink pepper and patchouli Base notes: amber, Atlas cedarwood, vetiver and benzoin Fresh citrus notes meet aromatic flowers and spices. How to use Depending on your hair length and desired hold, dispense one to three pumps into your palms and distribute evenly through towel-dried hair. Work the Cream Tonic through the hair from the roots to the ends. Blow-dry the hair into the desired shape. For maximum volume, blow-dry against the natural direction of growth while lifting the hair using your fingers or a brush. Once the hair is completely dry, finish the hairstyle using your fingers or a comb. For additional control or stronger definition, apply a small amount of Enigma to dry hair. Washing out Thanks to its water-based formula, Lockhart’s Enigma washes out more easily than a traditional oil-based pomade. Warm water and shampoo are recommended for complete removal.
