Product information "DAX Neat Waves - ORANGE"
DAX Neat Waves – Medium-Hold Pomade with Maximum Shine
Classic oil-based pomade with medium hold, high shine and excellent combability. DAX Neat Waves is particularly suitable for waves, curls, slick backs, side parts and traditional barber styles. Lanolin and mineral oil help leave the hair feeling soft and smooth while providing flexible control. With a mild, nostalgic barbershop scent. Made in the USA.
DAX Neat Waves combines the essential qualities of a traditional barber pomade: dependable medium hold, intense shine and lasting restylability.
Its smooth, slightly grippy consistency is easier to apply than particularly firm wax pomades. The hair remains flexible throughout the day and can be reshaped at any time using your fingers, a comb or a brush.
Hold, Shine and Finish
Hold: medium
Shine: high to maximum
Finish: classic, smooth and flexible
Scent: mild, warm and nostalgic
Medium Hold and Flexible Control
DAX Neat Waves provides a well-balanced medium hold. The pomade binds individual hairs together, controls flyaways and stabilises the hairstyle without making the hair stiff.
Its hold is suitable for both polished everyday hairstyles and classic pomade styles. Control can be increased gradually by applying several small amounts of product.
Maximum Shine for Classic Styles
The special strength of DAX Neat Waves lies in its intense shine. It gives the hair a classic, visibly glossy finish that is ideal for elegant barber styles and traditional wet looks.
Applied to dry hair, the result appears slightly more natural. In slightly damp or towel-dried hair, the pomade spreads particularly easily and produces its most intense shine.
Suitable For
- Waves and curls: for defining and controlling the natural hair pattern
- Slick backs: for smoothly combed hair with high shine
- Side parts: for clean lines and classic elegance
- Pompadours: for moderate volume and flexible stability
- Executive contours: for traditional barber styles with a clean silhouette
- Business styles: for a polished, glossy finish
- Curly or coarse hair: for greater control and suppleness
Ideal for Waves and Curls
DAX Neat Waves was developed especially for polished waves and defined hair patterns. Its oil-based formula groups curls and waves together, visibly reduces frizz and gives the hair a smooth, glossy surface.
The flexible hold preserves the hair’s natural movement. Waves and curls can be rearranged at any time using your fingers or a comb.
Lanolin and Mineral Oil
Lanolin helps leave the hair feeling soft and smooth while supporting moisture retention. Mineral oil smooths the hair’s surface, adds shine and supports the definition of waves and curls.
The rich formula is particularly suitable for hair that appears dry, coarse or unruly. It should be applied sparingly to fine hair to avoid unnecessarily weighing down the hairstyle.
Consistency and Application
The light-golden pomade has a smooth, slightly tough consistency. It can be scooped from the tin with little effort and quickly becomes soft when rubbed between the palms.
For even application, begin with a small amount and rub it thoroughly between your hands. Work it through the hair from the roots to the ends, adding further small amounts gradually if required.
The Scent
The fragrance has a mild and nostalgic barbershop character. Warm, subtly sweet and delicate citrus nuances give it a classic, polished quality.
The scent remains pleasantly understated in the hair and combines easily with an aftershave or fragrance.
Application
Remove a small amount from the tin with your fingertip and rub it thoroughly between your palms. Work it evenly through dry or slightly damp hair.
Shape the desired hairstyle with a comb or hairbrush. Gradually add further small amounts if stronger hold or more intense shine is required.
For particularly smooth and even hairstyles, a boar-bristle hairbrush is recommended. It helps distribute the pomade evenly through the hair and smooth down flyaways.
Restyling and Buildup
Because DAX Neat Waves never hardens, the hairstyle can be recombed or reshaped at any time. A little water or a few splashes of hair tonic are often sufficient to refresh the style the following day.
A light amount of remaining product can deliberately be left in the hair as buildup and used as a styling foundation over the following days.
Washing Out
As a traditional oil-based pomade, DAX Neat Waves cannot be removed completely with water alone. Due to its smooth consistency, however, it can be washed out more easily than particularly firm wax pomades.
Depending on the amount applied, your hair type and the level of buildup, one or more washes with a thoroughly cleansing shampoo may be required.
Packaged in a classic metal tin.

Macht was sie soll
