How to use Scoop a small amount of Outlaw Pomade from the tin with your fingertips and rub it thoroughly between your palms until the product becomes soft and evenly distributed. Work it through the hair from the roots to the ends in several small amounts. Applying the pomade to towel-dried hair allows for especially smooth distribution and creates a sleeker finish. Applying it to dry hair provides greater grip, texture and control. Shape the hair as desired using a sturdy comb or brush. For additional hold, gradually apply more product in small amounts. Buildup and washing out As a traditional oil-based firm-hold pomade, MG Pomade Outlaw cannot be removed completely with water alone. The remaining buildup can be used as a controlling foundation for styling over the following days. A little water or hair tonic helps make the hair smooth and workable again the next morning. Michael Gillert developed it as a well-balanced middle ground between the medium-hold Granny’s Lemon Grove and the stronger Outlaw.
